WHO AM I?

Hello, I’m Amélie Decomble, professionally known as Amélimón, a freelance visual artist based in Barcelona. Originally from Avignon, in the south of France, I have been living and creating in Barcelona since 2021. I speak Spanish, English, French, and I’m beginning to learn Catalan, which allows me to collaborate with diverse clients across Europe.

My artistic practice centers on frame-by-frame 2D animation and video mapping, two fields where I can fully explore movement, rhythm, and emotion. I love creating visuals that vibrate and feel alive, keeping the handmade, sensitive touch at the heart of my work. Each project is an opportunity to blend traditional techniques with digital expression, bringing depth and uniqueness to the viewer’s experience.

Alongside these specialties, I also create music videos for bands, print materials, murals, and personalized objects. This diversity of projects keeps my practice dynamic and allows me to approach each collaboration with fresh creative energy.

MY WORK

I create video mapping installations, music videos for bands, murals, print projects, and custom-made objects. My video mapping work transforms spaces into immersive, animated experiences, using hand-crafted 2D animation to make each projection unique and emotionally engaging.

I have collaborated with both private and professional clients in France and Spain, including large-scale events like the Cumbre Internacional de Gastronomía de Salamanca and the Carnival of Cádiz. Each project is tailored to the client’s vision, combining creativity, storytelling, and technical expertise.

MY APPROACH

Collaboration is essential in my creative process. I enjoy exploring ideas with clients and pushing the boundaries of visual storytelling. My work is guided by a passion for hands-on creation, careful observation, and attention to detail. I strive to make every project not only visually striking but also emotionally resonant.
